Whats a good case for watercooling? (IE MAX radiator space, with room for tubes and a res). I like my H440 but i need hard drives in it which takes away space, as well as there is no room for a res. Please help, I only want to spend $100-200 ($300 if its really good, dont need the space like in Skunkworks. (But i love the look of the case, so something like it but smaller. )) It also needs to fit ATX, have a window, and be Black or Blue or Grey or a combination of the three (black/blue, black/grey, gray/blue, black/grey/blue). Thanks

Define S.

You really really don't need to go that big to do a great full custom watercooling build.

My computer for example:

420 + 280 rad. Ugh when compared to the build below it, it seems clear I really REALLY need to sew my extensions together.

Is there anything else? Im not a huge fan of fractal design (the way they look, personaly. At least for how I do my builds) other than that it looks great

Pretty much all Caselabs chassis are amazing for watercooled builds, JayzTwoCents' Skunkworks speaks for itself.

The only downside to these cases is the price...

Here is my perspective.

The Define S is BY FAR the best midtower on the market for full custom watercooling.

The next best is probably the Mastercase Pro 5 (which has an even more "particular" aesthetic), which is a distant second.

If you want something else with similar capacity (totaling 6+ x120 or 5+ x140), then you will probably want to move towards a full tower (even if not a super tower like the 900D).

Cases that come to mind are the Enthoo Pro (although radiator support isn't very good for the size), Corsair 760T/780T/750D

But if you do that you really will want to be careful to avoid hardware dwarfism.

Hmm this just occurred to me... Are you planning on doing a dual+ flagship GPU watercooled system? Because if you only plan on cooling one gpu (or gpus that are not as uhh heat intensive) there really isn't any reason you would need more than say 4x120 mounting space, which is easier to find good cases for.

Like say the Thermaltake P5  b326e9e83e8e8cc12d57812061c85b76.1600.jp

The 600C is an interesting option. You'd have to use a pump/res combo (due to the inefficient inverted ATX format) and you'd probably end up mounting it on the radiator itself (obviously with fans on the other side.) But it would probably look really nice if you made it work. The Air 540 is another unconventional choice.

Additionally there is an entire class of smaller cases I didn't cover that would work AMAZINGLY if you started with a new Swiftech (or in principle EK) Large AIO and built a custom loop from there (taking advantage of the combined pump/res/rad). I think the Corsair 400C is the archetype of this class.
