which cpu would make a great balence between both gaming and music, video and photo editing tasks (music production in fl studio) (Video editing in premiere) (photoshop) the i7 non overclockable 4790 or the Xeon e3 1231 v3 quad core processors ?

if you have a vid card then go with the cheaper xeon.

Yeah but it's a waste to get a Z series motherboard as you can't overclock it. Therefore, get a B85/H81/H97 motherboard instead.
