I just finished with my new build and stuck. I have to use an old hard drive out of a laptop and it works fine but there is issues. I can't use the internet when on Ethernet because i have to have updated drivers. I tried using a usb stick to install the drivers from their but i have used 2 usb sticks and the pc won't respond to them at all. How am i supposed to get on the internet?

Let me be the first to say:

You did wipe the drive?

And is it the boot drive?

And this mobo didn't have a driver disc included?

I would contact the mobo manufacturer for a new mobo or disc, get a new hard drive to boot with at least, and if all else fails get a cheap Ethernet adapter.

I did not wipe the drive. This is the boot drive. No it did not. That is exactly what i am going to do tomorrow. I have no idea why they would not ship a disc with it. How do they expect you to install drivers without it?

That's just weird.

Next time make sure to wipe the drive because most drivers just don't match up, and some manufacturers (I'm looking at you, Acer) do a poor job at making sure they even work natively.

Although if you had the disc it might not even have mattered...
