Getting a R9 380X Should i wait for Polaris?

ppppppp

Unlike Pascal, Polaris is starting with some mid range cards (380 960 range) so i maybe i should wait?

1.Should I?

2. What price should i expect ($ AND £)

3.Mid- End June right?

4.When do you expect reviews to come out?

if you're buying the 380x, you can just buy it now if you'd like

price wont fluctuate too much since its not a high end card

i only recommend those people buying 980ti or anything above $300 to wait for pascal to release

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

this close to launch, i would definitely say wait, you would be getting much better performance for the same or a similar price

same idea, you're going to potentially wait longer for polaris since we're not hearing much about it yet

the earliest polaris would come out would be together with pascal, which is around mid of june

2 months wait for an extra year or two life cycle isn't a bad trade off

if you can wait then wait `-`

im just saying that prices wont fluctuate that much for low end cards, especially since the new releases are replacing cards like 970 and 980, not the lower ends

x50 and x60 gpu (pascal) wont come out for a few more months, if nvidia follows their usual trend

no words about how polaris will be coming out tho.

Don't know how big your rock is, polaris 10 and 11, the ones coming out in june, are low-upper mid range cards

Yes there is look it up AMD POLARIS  is releasing  with mid end cards(480), you are still thinking about Pascals  1080 and 1070.
