1. Arctic Silver 5 is better thermal paste.

2. I recommend you go for an i5 and a higher end GPU, not many games will use 8 threads.

3. SSD is a good idea, a 5TB HDD is not (wha...?)

4. You do not need a $200 sound card.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

Spoiler

1) for purely gaming, an i5 would fare better than the i7, but an i7 is fine too

2) if you wanna overclock the cpu, i recommend a beefier cooler

3) your cooler should come with thermal paste, use those and save some $$

4) get a 240gb SSD and 2 or 3tb HDD instead of a single 5tb storage

5) maybe a better case?

6) not the best psu, i recommend you get the EVGA P2 650W instead

7) you can get windows form cheaper sources like G2A, Kinguin or subreddit microsoftsoftwareswap

8) drop the sound card and get a better gpu like the 390X, unless you need it for some reason

9) need a monitor(?)

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

The reviews on the motherboard are a bit iffy. In my opinion I'd opt to find another with more stable consistent reviews. The one you've chosen goes strait between 1egg and 5eggs but only has 23 reviewers. On top of that the board isn't standard ATX in size so if you want this system to show off to people the board is going to look very small inside the case.

A sound card really isn't necessary with enthusiast grade motherboards. If the board says HD audio and it comes from a reputable vendor you won't see a significant diffrence in performance. Ontop of that audio signals are very susceptible to electro-magnetic interference so you might actually have worse results with a dedicated sound card compared to the onboard.

Also you might want to consider a SSD for a boot drive and use the Toshiba drive for application and game storage. You'll have to be careful though. Windows uses a format known as MBR for partitioning drives. If you want to create a full 5TB partition you have to convert the drive from MBR to GPT and from my experience Windows does not do it on it's own. So if you install the OS to the 5TB drive you might have issues creating a 5TB volume.

What are you using it for and what's your display set up?

It's not going to be worth getting the 6700K most likely.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
