Laptop under $1000

The best speakers i can get, a matte screen (screw touch), and atleast an i5 if not then i3 works.these are usually my deciding factors. An ssd would be nice and please try and keep this under 15 inch because this is for college/ university. Thank people

what do you want to do with it? gaming, media consumption, office? do you carry it in a backback for school or is it more stationary?

Yeah, I would get the Dell XPS 13, or the Surface Pro 4, both can be <$1000 and are pretty portable and powerful.
