Hello, im new here, and my english is poor so sorry for that ;p

i have problem, i have 2 hd 4890 and wanna crossfire them but all drivers i can find, doesnt support this cards anymore. can u help me? where i can find right drivers for crossfire those two. Both working great alone.


I have Win 10x64
Intel Pentium G4400
Z170a g43 Plus
8gb Ram
PSU; Coolermaster GX750w (no adapters for pcie power connectors)

AMD don't support the original TeraScale cards anymore. As of Catalyst 13.9.

 

Your best bet is Windows 7.

@harrynowl is correct.

The Radeon HD 4000 series and older, are now under Legacy support -- and Radeon HD 7600 and below, HD 6000, and HD 5000 have been moved to *WIndows 10* Legacy support too.

 

For your HD 4890's you could try the Windows 8.1 drivers, and see if that works.

I got my HD4870x2s to work with the Legacy driver from W7 in W10 but CCC is broken so I can't enable X-Fire.

 

But I'm not too bothered cause they're a stop gap until the HD6870s come :P

i saving money for 390, i know this two now are piec of shi*, but i get 2nd for free so i want to crossfire it ;D i also wanna buy i5 6600k, i didnt have money to buy all , but i had to upgreat pc. and now, i dont know what to up first, gpu or cpu, i dont ussualy play new tittles so this setup is fine right now (i was console player for 14 years.)
 

 

 

when im instaling old catalyst some bugs come up but i dont understend anythink
