Building my first PC for general day-to-day usage, and games [CSGO, FC3, etc.]. Parts list is linked below. I'd like to hear from veterans, and would like the community's thoughts.

NOTE: I have not included a Graphics Card, as I don't have money for a proper graphics card and will get a 2GB Radeon in future.

Edit: I was so excited I forgot to link the parts lol

Whoa hold on there buddy...bad idea

Youre spending so much for an i5 and not getting a graphics card? bad bad idea

Get a pentium g3258 and a zotac 750ti...it will cost less than the i5 combined

Decent build but the PSU is horrible. See if you could get a SeaSonic or XFX PSU since you'll be pairing it with a GPU later on.

Look you're going to game...that doesnt need a quad core as much as you think

fine if you really want to go for a quad core, for for the AMD x4 860k  . It is still cheaper. Remember to change youre motherboard to a compatible one though.

I didnt know about the PSU being that bad...do you refer to a whitelist to check this stuff? If yes please post a link

I am a design student and maker. So I have to do 3d modelling and stuff. Extra cores do matter to me.

Also, I've read that onboard graphics on the i5 6500 are more than enough for CSGO so I'm gonna play that for now and go for better titles when I get a dedicated GPU. Sounds good?

Not really. It's a universal fact to be honest. Ever heard of the CX series? This PSU is worse.

Here's a couple of lists that I occasionally refer to:

I suppose yes...though I wouldnt do it myself; id go for a cheaper quad core and somehow manage to fit a 750ti. Personally as a student 750ti graphics are more than enough for me as i wont game all the time.

But your solution of getting a much better gfx card later will work too; as long as youre ready to run your iGPU for a bit.
