Get the Win 10 ISO from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10

An ISO basically contains all the components necessary to install an OS

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

The 7 tool won't work. Win 10 has it's own tool. The lower link in here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 The upper is for in-OS non-clean installation.

And .ISO is the standard file format for virual representations of optical media (CD, DVD, Blueray)

As @Naeaessaid, the .iso file is basically just a disc image file. It doesn't have to be an installer or anything.. anyone could make an .iso file that is just a bunch of files etc very easily.

The key part here is to make the .iso image bootable, so that the USB device you put the .iso onto can be booted when you start the PC. I personally hate the windows USB tool, much easier with rufus.

Please quote my post, or put @paddy-stone if you want me to respond to you.
