Recommendations for a multiplayer stealth game

Just finished building my new pc and i am looking forward to playing some good games.

fyi, i am mainly interested in playing stealth games and would like to play with other people.

 

i used to play splinter cell blacklist on my laptop before it decided to commit suicide, so are there any other games you can recommend?

I was going to try payday 2 but most of its users are mostly geared towards the aimless shooting side of things based on what my friends say.

 

Isnt there a game that kind of forces you towards stealth?

What about the Hitman series?

Rainbow Six: Siege is quite stealth orientated.

I also say PayDay 2.You can stealth almost all of the maps that are avainable(with and without the DLCs),but my only problem is the game has  a LOT of DLCs,including map DLC,tho due to how the game is made you dont need to own the DLC,just to join a game that is playing that map.Stealth is kind of generic and most stealth veterans will find it lacking and sometimes stupid,given how guards arent alerted to lets say the security room door beeing open or like other 3 guards just dissapeared,and then  theres this pager mechanic that after a while doesnt start to make sense(operator asks if anything is okey and your guy answers in Japanese,operator convinced end of conversation.)

Payday 2 has both groups, those who only like to do stealth through the missions, and the shoot everything side. all games that have these mechanics have these groups. 

But from my experience, tons and tons of people do the missions in stealth. I personally try to do all the possible (some missions dont have any stealth) missions in stealth. first reason, is that my friends laptop cant handle full on shootouts with cop waves without crashing xD. and second, i really enjoy the stealth along with tons of randoms. payday 2 seems to go on sale quite a bit, so just wait till there is a sale when it goes on sale for like 8 bucks and give it a go
