go look for used parts, its probably your best bet if you want any preformance here

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

With that budget you're best getting mostly used parts. What you planning on doing on the pc?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

@Patrick Gallagher No problem (quotes are messed up so yeah)

Here's a list of what you can upgrade:

CPU (X), It's already the top of the line AM1 CPU.

CPU Cooler (√) With better cooling you can increase the lifespan of your CPU.

RAM (√) You can upgrade RAM in the future if needed.

HardDrive (√) You can add an SSD in the future.

GPU (√) This is one of the first things you have to upgrade if you want better performance-the R5 230 won't really be good at new games.

Case and PSU (√) Although case is very good, you might want to change that PSU if you need to upgrade your GPU.

Peripherals (√) You can always get better peripherals, tho, I don't reccomend it-the R5 230 is good at 720p, but bad at 1080p or more.

So you have a pretty good upgrade path; everything except the CPU, but, since games are more GPU bound, the Athlon 5350 is a great budget quad-core.

@Djole123 many thanks Ill be ordering hopefully in the next week. What would you recommend as the next graphics card?

Hey quotes started working!

The R7 250/X 2GB is a better option; anything above will bottleneck the 5350.

So I was getting prices on Amazon UK because that's the handiest for me I think and the graphics card won't ship to IE so have you any other suggestions?

Also is a silence 500w atx power supply compatible
