I've been looking to buy a new phone and found two candidates the lg G4 or the lg v10.

The choice is pretty hard since they don't differ much from each other (for the exception of extra ram on the v10) price isn't the problem since they are both similar in price.

Could anyone with these devices list the pros and cons?

Thank you in advance

As a G4 user I would say while it is a great phone, but in almost every category the V10 is better. The still camera seems to be identical, but the video has cool pro features like controlling the bit rate, audio direction and so on. For some reason LG also removed these great video features on the G5, not cool. LG also but a much better DAC and amp on the V10, although the G4 was no slouch. The speaker is bottom mounted and appears to be smaller(this is the one part that I am unsure of), so I do not know how that part performs in comparison, I would look it up right now but I am in school. The screen is bigger, which I would argue is still useable and better, but I myself would not be a big fan of the tiny notification screen as I just don't like it being that tiny and up so high. Also the G4 is slightly curved while the V10 is not, so it comes down to personal preference. There is also an additional front facing camera with a wide angle lens to let more people into your selfies if you are into that. As far as software updates I am unsure where the V10 is but I have had Marshmallow for a few months now with the security patch from March, and Marshmallow made my battery standby time go up by a lot, sometimes.I would probably recommend the V10 in the end though.
