Hello.

I am setting up a workshop for fixing graphics cards. I have my testbench ready:

Pentium g2030

2gb hp ram

Any single graphics card excluding things like the titan z or r9 295x2 that are comically expensive

What's the cheapest psu I could get away with?

I should clarify: this is just to test if the gpu outputs video. If it does, it will be benchmarked on my PC which has a perfectly good psu. The psu will never really be used for more than 5 mins at a time.

Thanks in advance

I would get something that has at least 600W. Don't be too cheap or you'll regret it!

CPU: Ryzen 3800X  MOBO: Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero (Wi-Fi)  RAM: Corsair LPX 3200MHz 35GB (2x16) GPU: EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC2 PSU: EVGA  850BQ  COOLING: Noctua NH-D15  CASE: Corsair Vengeance C70 Arctic White

i'd get any seasonic psu above 500W

they're a reliable PSU brand so any of their model will do

and they're fairly priced too

A Seasonic S12 will do, 520W is a solid amount.

These options are all quite expensive, the s12 is £50! This psu is barely going to be used! I was hoping for a sub £30 option, something like the EVGA 500w
