PS4 controller for Dark Souls 1

I use the software DS4 Windows to make the ps4 controller work for Rocket League, will it work for Dark Souls 1? Does anybody use it to play DS with?

I don't actually give useful information, hopefully I just  say something funny.

Should work fine I used my ps3 controller with ds1 a few years ago,

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.

It supposedly works according to Steam forums.

Yes it works, but you most likely have to go to the DS4Windows settings and enable "Hide DS4 Controller".
