Recommendable $140-$185 (give or take) Graphics card

Hamish.R

AMD CrossFire is only compatible with AMD cards of a certain generation.

like, you can crossfire a 290 with a 290X, a 280 with a 290, a 380 with a 290X, that stuff. but thats it

My Main Build: NZXT S340 - NZXT Kraken X31 - Crucial MX100 256GB - i5 4460 - Gigabyte Z97P D3 - Kingston HyperX Red 8GB - MSI Nvidia GTX 780 3GB - Corsair LL & HD RGB Fans, Corsair Lighting Node Pro.

It doesnt work that way mate.

Just go with  R9 380 and you should be fine at 1080p gaming.

Best to skip going multi-GPU since both Crossfire and SLI will give you potentially more problems than you want such as microstuttering and improper utilisation. A stronger single GPU is always the better choice.

At this price range, you're looking at R9 380.

OK I was looking just in case that you still pay on 60hz ... the BenQ is alright a FreeSync/GSync Monitor would not hurt but I think it's fine.
