Hey I'm switch from an old AM3 motherboard with an even older Phenom II CPU to an AM3+ board with an FX-6300. Only problem is I have my OS (Windows 7 Home 64bit) on my current motherboard and I'm not sure how I'm gonna switch my OS over. I'm fine with doing a clean install as I don't have a lot of data/files of any importance just games I can download again on my new mobo. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated thanks so much.

You can run windows sysprep.exe found in the System32 folder. It removes all the drivers that were installed manually. That's how i used my hard drive on another PC because the drivers didn't interfere with the startup and stuff.

Hope this helps :P
