Surge Protectors / Plug Extensions

Couldn't figure out where to put this, so this seemed like the best place to put it.

I need 2 surge protectors/plug extensions.

What kind of things would I be looking for in a basic extender/surge protector?

And specific names?

I have 2 plugs in my room and I need 2 extensions with around 6 slots on.

Would this be good enough to have my PC +monitors etc plugged in?

Seems on the cheap side.....

That would be good. You could have Router, printer, 2 screens, your PC and another peripheral(like speakers... if anyone uses them any more) just on that.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

Don't really need a UPS, just need something so my PC doesn't get took out with a power out.

(also not willing spend the money on a UPS + have no room for it :P)

Is it not too cheap?

APC makes pretty good surge protectors imo. The one that you chose seems really poorly made to me imo and it doesn't seem to be a well-known brand. Use this to choose the right one for your needs: http://www.apc.com/tools/surge_selector/
