1080p 144hz gaming setup?

its my first gaming build and I've thought over my build and here it is ---> https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Night_Wolf_720/saved/ 

i only bought my case since it was on sale at newegg but would this be able to max out games on a 1080p with 144hz monitor and get the full effect??
any suggestions. and i i already went over budget

You should have a very good gaming experience with that set up. On some games, you might have to turn some settings down if you want to keep it on v-sync at 144 fps.

thanks, my first plan was to go with the evga gtx970 ssc but people say the 

MSI R9 390 Gaming 8G 

is better, thoughts?

You get roughtly the same processing performance but on the 390, you also get 8gb of vram. So if you plan on using lots of mods or high quality textures, the extra frame buffer will come in handy.
