Why do people recommend hd7950 when currently gtx760 is newer, better and cheaper?  7950 does have 3gb but that means nothing,by the time games will use full 3gb, 7950 would not have raw power for it.(bf4 is using 2.5 gb vram for 1600p)

Don't believe me,check all major benchs.

Because 2 of those things are not true.

The 7950 is better and is cheaper.

There's a reason why benchmarks exist,to know what's better what's worst.

Those benchmarks don't account for overclocks which the 7950 is significantly better at than the 760.

Check the description for graphs.

At stock speeds, the 760 just barely beats the 7950 at stock clocks, but once you OC those things (wich isn't hard to do anymore) the 7950 just kicks the 760 his but.

Aswell the cheapest 760 in the US is found for 242$ (most around 260$) while the cheapest 7950 is found for $180. (most around 220$)

@WoodenMarker showed you why the 7950 is our suggested card often over the 760.

Aswell the 7950 comes with the never settle bundle, wich is still 3 game titles (who are great!)

NZXT Phantom windowed, Asus Z77 Sabertooth, Intel 2600K, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA 780 Classified, Crucial Ballistic Tactical, Crucial M4 128GB + Samsung 850 EVO, Corsair RM850, Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Peripherals: Sennheiser HD598, FinalMouse Classic, SteelSeries Qck Heavy, Ducky Shine Zero (MX Brown), AOC G2460PF & Qnix QX2710

Build Log: Phantom - Antique Noctua

If you're building your own pc and you're not oc'ing, you're doing it wrong.
