Dell XPS 15 4k or Naw

I'm looking at the 4k Version of this laptop and my question is how do games look in native 1080p on a 4k display. I wont be doing any heavy gaming but if i do it'll be Minecraft, Cities Skylines or Sim city. Any suggestions or ideas.

i would go 1080p because battery and the fact that its not really worth the money to get 4k, games will look fine at 1080p on a 4k display, they will look 1080p pretty much

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I'm not as concerned about text or battery life, although i am worried about it only having a 960m with a 4k display.

Yeah I agree, i've only read that it sometimes is blurry and its not worth dealing with that if i can save $500 and get a 1080p model.

1080p for reasons above. Not worth it. Hell Linus got the 1080p over the 4k.

I am very happy with my 1080p xps 15 though one of my criteria when purchasing it was to get away from windows display scaling.
