Good deal for a 100$

My friend is selling his monitor (acer 243hl) to me for 100$. He used it for a while for gaming, now he's selling it because he's getting 3 new dell monitors. Im currently using a really old monitor, about 8 years old, its a hans g monitor 22 inches with a res of 1680x1050. And i would like to know if its a good deal and worth the upgrade?

It don't feel a mediocre used monitor is worth $100 USD. You could buy something new for that price which is better.
