Stuff like PAX, CES, Computex etc... in the UK?

I wish, even in Texas the biggest and only one is SXSW.

 

It's still a long trip because I am in Houston.

I know that sometimes at gaming festivals there are tech companies (such as Scan, Microsoft, etc.) and occasionally at events such as The Gadget Show Live (NVidia were there for HTC Vive this year), but I think we do miss out on a lot, since most tech companies always showcase in America first.

Yeah we do, but not quite on that scale, generally smaller shows, at smaller venues, sometimes in big retailers, sometimes at proper convention centres

Like when I went to EGX in Earls Court - that was awesome, played with Oculus Rift etc
