prices are in NZD..

http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/1Fod8

am able to switch to the 2gb 760 but eh, not really a problem with the extra cost for the 4gb just didnt see a reason to work out 200 dollars extra to go from 2gb 760 to 2gb 770

just say what you think about it and say what you would change. dont just go through and pick what you would want and what you would use..

for example - just say i wouldnt use that psu because of such a reason and say you could use "this" one instead..

otherwise i wouldnt have picked any parts at all..

include suggestions for fans for the case, aestheticsally and performance.

have fun :L

If you're not apposed to an AMD card I'd say get a 7970 As they're the same price +- $5 and as I understand the 7970 is faster.

http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/components/componentview.asp?partid=17686

That's the 7970 I'd get.

8320 instead of 8350 (overclock). I'd get the 990fx-UD3 R4.0 from cl instead of the R3.0, Noctua NH-U12S for cpu cooler, HyperX beast 8gb for ram and a samsung 840 ssd. Opposed to buying a radeon card?

any reason to the 8320? in my country theres like a very very small price gap between them i believe like 20 dollars (which i dont mind paying) and for the mobo, unless i went with http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga990fxaud7 its alot cheaper :L and i can agree on that fan for the cooler, the ram i picked just looked cool at the time..

for the GPU, the 760 that i picked, i just liked the cooler design and the performance/dollar ratio, i do understand that the 7970 is probably faster but at this time i just like the 760 more..

i will look into the 7970's though!

7970 is fast as as a 770 and 4GB 760 SUCKS. No point in having 4GB on 256bit bus.

just thought about saving a little money with the 8320 but thats not really important. I'd always perfer the newer revision of a motherboard but the older revision looks like a good deal. Corsair ram is fine i just like kingston more.
7970 would be faster but theyre all kinda ugly =/. also from nz btw.

i can drop it down to 2gb 760 and it is 100 dollars cheaper to save up for on something else like water cooling or something..

only picked the 4gb because i was sorta wanting to do a multimonitor setup and that most games(maybe not most, just from the reviews and stuff ive been hearing) are stating to optimize the amount of Vram they use

4GB 256bit < 3GB 384bit. Check this. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/44197-memory-bus-size-and-how-it-effects-your-vram-usage/ . Also 3GB will be enough for 3-monitor surround. I will make you my complete suggestion, wait.

Xfire and OC ready. I've noticed you care for looks, that's why I picked one of the more expensive 7970s, you can get them for like $100 cheaper, but they have blue PCB.

love the lil comment at the end :P

but yeah the only thing id change from that list would be the cpu and maybe the hdd - cpu to 8350 only cuz its 20 dollars more at a shop that isnt displayed on pcpartpicker. and the harddrive, 2tb for 30 dollars more than that 1tb one.

but yeah ill definately take a look at those 7900 cards
