Are those normal noises a HDD should make?

sounds like the read head moving on the platter. nothing to worry about if you ask me. If it starts running slower than usual, like a lot slower, than abandon ship and get a new one.

I just wanted to know if these are normal noises a HDD should do, considering it is 2.5 year old, as I'm kinda worried about it.

It should if is in load but if not, run a SMART test and are you using a laptop or desktop?

Just wondering... are those normal read/write speeds for a 750gb 5400rpm hdd?

laptop. also I've tried doing a smart test, but I just can't manage how to get it to work.
