Laptop for college

Hey, I am looking for a laptop I can use when I go to college next fall. My budget is 750-800USD. I am looking for something like an ultrabook but with enough power for day to day stuff. I already have a parts list for a tower that I am going to build over the summer, so the laptop does not need to be able to game or run anything intensive other than basic business stuff. Thanks for the help

(BTW this is isn't my first post/account, I was @MCmcginness and can verify this, but for some reason I can not sign in or recover it, but its all good.)

The Dell inspiron 15 gaming series usually goes on sale for under $800. Might be the best bang for the buck in terms of size and power

a decent deal though prices go up and down, i would just follow slickdeals(no relation to luke of LTT, lol) they occasionally post great deals everyday.

if i post a link to amazon try to use the LTT affiliate code to help the channel http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&linkCode=ur2&tag=linustechtips-20
