You could either go with a single 1440p display or dual 1080p displays if you need to do some productivity work as well as gaming, this 1440p display has a highly adjustable stand built in

380 is a bit weak for 1440p though, a 390 would be preferable, but that would mean dropping your i7 to an i5 which isn't preferable for rendering.

suppose you could drop the SSD to fit it in, but I'd say getting a good primary display is going to be the best option over any of that

Of course if you're feeling extra crazy and you want to buy one display forever, there is a 27" 4k IPS free-sync display at only 360 pounds

What would the performance drop be in a game such as gta v? like 60 to 50? or bigger?

Going to be fairly capable for 1080p ultra, and the display will change it's refresh rate to match your fps, as it's a free-sync display

of course it would be better to drop the settings a bit and get much smoother game play with higher fps

PC hardware almost always costs about the same and gives you more performance when new stuff comes out, but it's a few months away, would only be worth going that route if you have to drop to a 380 to get a higher end display

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

No problem, I guess Streetguru's 144hz idea isn't too bad either if you like playing competitive shooters such as CS:GO and want to have an edge or you want a more smooth looking desktop (but in my opinion, trading a worse looking display in terms of colour and a worse GPU for a faster refreshing display is not worth it but you know, it's your money so do what ever you wanna :D. Hell, you can create your own build and we can give you comments and guidelines on whether it's going to be good or not).

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Hehe :D Well I'm deciding between a nice monitor and a r9 380x or a r9 390 and a 2010 apple cinema display monitor :/

Well 1440p or a 144hz is beneficial in different ways compared to a 1080p IPS panel but in the end, it's your decision on what you get (and what you like more :D).
