Dark souls 2 miracles

Hello fellow tech tipers!

 

So couple days back i bought darksouls 2 and i've been watchin speedruns and walkthroughs for it and now i get to my problem, when i see everybody defeat dragonrider and go to the miracle lady they buy lightning speat and they get 10 uses like right off the bat and when i buy it i can only have 3 uses?! What's that all about?

well first of all miracles were nerfed HARD way back, faith is not a good build for the most part, and you need higher attunement for more spell casts

Ok, didn't know that... But i allready put couple of points in it sooo... What to do now? I did pick up some soul arrows is there a way to get a staff?

you can still do a faith build you just sort of also need to do a physical build, it will pay off but not till later in the game, the lightning spears are still strong.

Yes i saw that ,i'm currently using my mace (still from the beginning) and that works just fine but can i get a staff somewhere is darksouls? Because i would love to use the souls arrows

Yes, there is a npc that sells one.

Just continue where you left and you will find him  (in the area after the next bonfire, near the next boss).

Well im at the lost bastille sooo, is the staff right there or? Must i look somewhere else

I though you were still in the area after the dragonrider, the npc is in no mans Wharf,

the npc is on a scaffolding about 30 seconds of running from the flexile sentry npc.
