Insight on firestrike physics score

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

seems about right

you can search for people with the same set-up and see how you stack up.

So I have my i5 4690k overclocked to 4.5 ghz at 1.215v. Ran some stability tests and so far it seems to be holding up. So as another test I've ran a few passes of 3d mark firestrike,  physics scores seem to fall in the high 8000'school  (like 8985 ish give or take) or the low 9000's (9040-9080ish) Question is are these physics scores about right for my cpu and clock? Total scores in firestrike are in the high 14000's (14980ish) to low 15000's  (15050-15080ish)

These are not correct score, I was running 4GHz With my i7 (HT Disabled) And got 11K.

My current build - Ever Changing.

Number 1 On LTT LGA 1150 CPU Cinebench R15

Op was talking about physics score, not total score.

My rig:

I doubt that a 4ghz quad core i7 could get a valid physics result of 11k. My i5's best at 4.7 was just over 9400

I would get the score up, but my PC Has a distinct lack of motherboard.

I've had invalid results of 10k+, but they weren't valid results. Considering 9k is pretty well what other i5s get at 4.5, I doubt that an i7 with ht disabled would get a much higher valid result at 4 ghz unless it was a 5820k or better. I'm sure you can understand my skepticism considering.

Maybe I just had the weirdest result ever, I then immediately got 7 Runs where CPU Was not identified so *shrug*
