I just want something known for reliabilty . I also dont care about the noise. Which one is the go to cooler for builders these days?

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

Will a bigass tower cooler fit in your case?

Yeah any size will do...its a large case, one of those old heavy ones with a roomy interior

I've got to say that the best air cooler is probably the Noctua NH-D15. Not the greatest looking but it cools very well.

Alternatively, if you're more concerned about looks, the beQuiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 is a great choice.

I really like my CRYORIG H5 Ultimate, but anything CRYORIG, Noctua or be quiet! is pretty solid.

Noctua, Cryorig, bequiet at the high end, Cryorig or Cooler Master for less expensive coolers IMO. Can't beat the NH-D15, though I do love my H5 Ultimate.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

NH-D15, Silver Arrow Extreme, R1 Ultimate, and the PH-TC14PE are the top performers. I may be missing a few others.

As for reliability, that isn't usually a deciding factor for heatsinks which have no moving parts aside from the fan.
