its not a huge difference. like your room isnt going to raise 3 degrees or anything like that but if you were going to run 2 or 3 of them though it would be very noticeable. nothing a good breeze wont fix.

That is why I am so happy with my new pc skylake and nvidia card so much less heat...

I used to hate summer too much heat to even last over 2 to 3 h at pc but now so much better...

hybrid mode on powersupplys is when if its under a certain load it will turn the fan off to be more quiet. from experience with corsair though it kind of wonky though

unbelievably the 950 pro is $177 at new egg right now so depends how much that 850 evo is

The sm951 is strangely more expensive than 950 pro in the us anyway

in the UK the SM951 is £108 and the 950 pro is £137

oh shit. haha i'll look into that maybe next year after building this plan :D

cx 750 (know to be crap) rm650x (cap in the cable overheated and melted the plastic. corsair rma is pretty good though.

I've been reading about r9 390s and there are some manufacturers with bad performing coolers. looking into MSI and Sapphire r9 390s, reviews said they have good cooling fans and sapphire has the better one.

they replaced all the cables and the psu. they said that the psu was faulty and was putting too much stress on the cap in the 24pin cable. im just lucky it didnt take out the motherboard.

No. The additional vram would be a useful thing to have if you were looking at gaming at 5K, but no number of either of these cards are going to be doing that comfortably.

These cards are basically the same. The 390 tends to be clocked to give it a slight edge out of the box, but the 970 is notoriously overclockable -- it can usually beat a 980 at stock (but of course the 980 can itself be overclocked a lot too).

so you still got the same psu but with new cables? maybe it was just badluck that the psu you got have a faulty connection on the cap haha

haha alright. you think the seasonic x-750 will be good enough? or get the platinum one? HAHA

you could get a seasonic psu with a plastic rating and it would still be more reliable then most of the competition

660W would be enough for my build, right?
