Scared of OC

I am going to upgrade my X4 Phenom II 965 to another AMD processor that i allot better then the Phenom X4. But i am a bit "scared" of OC. What AMD CPU is best if im not going to Overclock my CPU. Thanks

Mostly Gaming

If your budget allows, get an intel cpu. Preferabally an i5 if you can afford it.

I would see if you could get an i3 at least.  An i5 would be preferable.  A cheap option and the absolute least I would do is getting an Athlon X4 860k and a new motherboard.

Just be mindful that if you do go with the 860K, you need an FM2+ motherboard. Meaning you need a new motherboard since your motherboard is most likely an AM3 socket.

i have a mobo that can use literally every AMD cpu, like FX, Athlon (i think) and Phenom

i have 3 AMD mobos, i believe that one of those 3 have the FM2+ socket

Double check before you just shove the CPU in there and break a pin.
