You buy SD cards because the device you have uses them?

Current Build: Core i7 4790k @ 4.6, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz 8gb (2x4gb), GTX 980ti, NZXT Kraken X61, Fractal Define R5  EVGA Supernova B2 850w, Some 300gb hard drive.

Tiny micro SD cards are easier to lose, and perhaps break.  Also I don't think the micro SD cards have the write lock switch, which can be useful for professionals who might use that as a tool to prevent accidental overwriting of data.

size, price, some people that are not as savy may not understand adapters, or to keep track of which cards go to what.
