What CPU should i buy?

Hello guys, I’m making a new computer on my own for my work and i am really confused to which CPU is better, AMD or Intel. I am an architect and i use a lot of programs for photorealism, making videos, rendering for a lot of hours, etc. I currently have an Intel i5 that i bought 3 years ago and i am really satisfied with its performance but i think it is time to move on to something more powerful. 

Any idea what should i buy.?? I mean what's the best CPU for me.?

X99 5820k would be a good CPU to start if you can get it cheap ($299 on Microcenter).

Intel is far better than AMD. Get an unlocked i7 and you'll fly though those rendering times.

Current Build: Core i7 4790k @ 4.6, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz 8gb (2x4gb), GTX 980ti, NZXT Kraken X61, Fractal Define R5  EVGA Supernova B2 850w, Some 300gb hard drive.

I would concur with this. The 5820K was practically designed for you.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
