I'm looking for a pair of really good looking but at the same time really great speakers for around $150. Obviously I do care about sound qwuality but I want these to look good as I will have to look at them every day. I would go for something like the audioengine a2+ but they are quite a bit above my price range.

Any help is greatly appreciated as always, Thanks

or just grab a cheap speaker and use the leftover money on spray paint if you want a badass looking speakers

Best bang for the bug is used speakers, where you sometimes can get 500$ speakers for 100$

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Find an audio amplifier on eBay for about £1.50 from china (May have to wait a while) then buy a 12v power source. That is the actual system, buy an audio cable (Preferably gold plated) and spend the rest on the speakers. That is what I did and my audio is bloody brilliant plus they look beautiful because they are varnished and have a teak finish. @Dackzy
