Picking the right controllers

Hello guys
So the thing is, I want to connect my PC to my Smart TV through HDMI and purchase two controllers to connect to the PC and play with friends when they are over at my house.

I was wondering, what should I get? PS4 controllers or XBox One controllers? Which one would work better for my setup and I strictly NEED THEM to work WIRELESSLY, (im not sure how this works, USB Dongle or Wi-Fi transmiter? Also do they come with it in the package or do I have to purchase them separately?) if not then this setup is for nothing and I'm canceling it. I have no idea how they work as I never used a console before, I was a PC guy since forever.

I would personally go for Xbox controllers. Partially because they just feel nicer to me. 

You need a seperate wireless dongle for PC. They do not come with it, as they do not require one for the console. I believe you only need one dongle for up to 4 controllers. I could be wrong there, though. 

Something to note is that not all games have multiple controller support. Some games may register a button press on one controller and apply it to both players. Local multiplayer isn't really a strong point for PC.

2x good old 360 controllers would be the best bet in my opinion.

Id get 2x 360 pads with the wireless dongle (you can get a pc specific one that includes the dongle and just one spare controller)

Would also work with xbox one controllers and the PC dongle

The xbox controllers work natively with windows without drivers or software, and are supported on most games easily complete with button prompts

honestly I think every PC gamer should have a 360 pad
