So right now i have 2 monitors and 1 tv hooked up to my PC, but my TV is accross the room and only want to use it when I need to watch movies. Is there a way to switch off the 3rd monitor without unplugging the HDMI cord everytime?

Thanks :)

Welcome to the Forums!

You can do into display settings and disable the TV screen and only enable it until you need it.

Would there be a way to have say a shortcut or something on the desktop so i can enable and disconnect quicker/easier? If theres not thats cool. just would be nice if there was :D

There are hot keys for extending adjusting monitors but for that specifically you may need to look into a software shortcut to do that.

Thanks for the tips, unfortunetely that only switches between extending to all 3 monitors or switching to just the main monitor. I was hoping for something that could switch off and on the TV monitor easily without having to go into display settings and doing it manually every time

Yeah it would require a third party software to do that then, check this out it looks like it's able to do just that:
