Anyone want to join my folding tesm

As you may know I am planning a charity folding build to honour a friend who died from undiagnosed brain cancer. 

NVIDIA sent me a 980 Ti for testing and I told them I would set up a team for his memory and for people from my school (and of course anyone else) to join.

I have created the team

Number is 230574

Anyone is free to join.

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

Sorry to hear about your friend. :(

I can't fold right now, but I have plans in the works for a folding cluster using a number of older systems, so I followed this in order to save it for later. It might be a while before I can get the cluster up and running, but hopefully everything works out.

God, if it weren't for money being tight in my house I would so do this...

 

Coming from someone whose uncle died in December from cancer (as well as a grandpa from lung cancer like 6 years ago), I know how much cancer fucking sucks dick. So many people I know/am related to have had cancer its fucking horrible.

I am looking for someone to take my 980 so  have enough money to buy a new nonitor, prerably g-sync. My current monitor is straight out of 2004 and still uses VGA believe it or not.

I've had a brain tumor, I know the suck of cancer too, I'll transfer one of my systems over for awhile

Yeah basically. It is a miracle when they offered 3 weeks after I emailed them. Obviously i wouldn't decline
