The Note is a bigger phone, so evidently a bigger battery that lasts longer and I've heard great things about the camera from reviews and my three friends with note 5's.

The S7 has smaller battery, but its improved compared to the S6, and the camera is better is better suited low light situations due to its bigger pixels, letting more light in.

If I was you, go to a store, get a feel for both phones and watch a couple of reviews

S7 has better camera since the Note 5 is the S6 with a blown up screen.

I like my S7e.  It's bigger screen without being too big like the Note is IMO.  You can't use the Note comfortably is one hand which was a turn off.

If you wmant moar battery, the S7 has wireless charging extended battery cases now.

S7 (edge).
S7 with 3000 mAh, and S7 Edge with 3600 (Yes, it has around 15-30% longer battery life.

Hardware is a newer generation, while the Note 5 is basicly a S6 generation with Note Pen.

S7/Edge has:

- Better CPU/GPU, more Power and more efficient (even more, if you are Lucky to live in Europe. Exynos > Snapdragon!

- Better Battery Life. Today i managed to hit 5 Hours screen on time on my  S7 Edge. And still had 50% Battery left! I NEVER even once managed to empty my battery with less than 6 hours~ screen on time. i've seen other Users, who constantly hit 8-10 Hours screen-on-time with their S7 Edge.

- Better Design, sits better in your hands.

- Newer Flaggships = will be prioritized for updates

- Better Camera. At Day not so much, but Low Light is much better. Autofokus is a whole different World, it works so incredible good.

- Probably some other small stuff, i'm missing out.

The only pro from the Note is the S- Pen. If you're not gonna use it, you dont need a Note.

But again, S7(e) has a better camera, and better battery life.
