Hi thanks for helping me!

Ever since I build my new Pc in late February I had an unstable Internet connection. The Internet connects normaly when I start the Pc, but when i surf the internet with chrome or firefox it just disconnects from time to time ( up to four times the minute but mostly 1 ervery 5 minutes). While playing games it is completly stable. When disconnected it tells me that the cable is not pluged in, but after a few second it reconects automaticly.

My PC`s Components are:

- Asus Maximus Hero 8

- I5 6600K @4.6 GHz (1.35V stable in Aida 64 and had not ever had a crash )

- 16 Gb hyper X Ram

- Gtx 980 TI

- Samsung 850 EVO (500Gb)

- Windows 10 Pro (latest version and i re installed it once already)

- Eset Smart Security ( I turned it off completly to test if the problems would disappear, but they didn´t)

I have all the latest drivers for the Motherboard instaled. I also had it replaced, because the Asus support did tell me it probably is a broken lan connector but replacing it didnt fix it either.

The problem has to be withe the Pc as the internet is working fine with the old one.

Have you considered the possibility that it's a fault with the Ethernet port on the router and have you tried whether it's a cable problem?

Do you have another PC that you can use to test both Ethernet ports on the router and mobo?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
