Fans... cant I get better?

Nosfy

Hey guys.

I decided to get a new case for my build (760T).

I will be changing the front fans that come with the case. Currently I have some Noctuas NF-A14 PWM as front intakes.

Can I get something better in terms of airflow or are the Notcuas the best I can do?

Thanks.

Well you can find better airflow such as Industrial series by noctuas but it gonna be quite loud.

i'd get some better fans for the h100i ;)

the noctua are pretty good as intakes

linus-style Noctua NF F12 "PWM":

22,4dB max 1500RPM static pressure 2,61mmH2O "air rate" 93,4m³/h
instead of the standard Corsair H100i GTX :

37,7dB max 2500RPM static pressure 4,65 mmH2O "air rate" 70,69m³/h

the lower noise is great and they still have a good air movement

Spoiler

The H100I fans were upgraded to some Thermaltake Riing fans.

The NF-A14's won't fit on a h100 anyway

great ;)  that's the first thing i did after buying the h100i

are the thermaltake riings "stats" similar to the NF F12?

you asked for a better airflow, what are your current temperatures while running idle / under load for a while?

your 2 front intakes + 2 pushing the heat out of the case + the psu fan pushing or pulling

i'd say thats "neutral" pressure

maybe "negative" air pressure could help getting more heat out of the case ( using dustfilters against the bigger "vacuum effect" )

Specs for the Riing fans.

Temps wise they are fine to be hones:

Idle at around 30c and at loads as high as 73c (GPU).
