Hi guys. I have an asus P8H61-I LX R2.0/RM/SI motherboard but it only shows me the pc when the GPU is connected to it. I do have vga and DVI on the motherboard also, but it does not allow me to use that to output to the screen when the gpu is not connected to the motherboard. I should be able to connect it to DVI right ?

Thanks

In that case you might have to enable the iGPU in the bios,

But why do you want to use the computer with the GPU disconnected?

CPU: i5 6600k OCed to 4.5Ghz @ 1.35v, GPU: R9 390 Nitro, Motherboard: Asus z170-A, CPU Cooler: H100i GTX, RAM: HyperX 2x8 16gb DDR4, PSU: Seasonic x650, Storage: 850 EVO 500gb, WD 1tb blue, Case: H440 White/Black

How would I do that. I have been checking. Because this is a cheap build for my mum to browse the web and watch a bit of netflix from time to time and plus it is my R9 380 which I need for gaming :) for my main PC.

You should be able to enable the iGPU somewhere in the bios,

Also try to post with out the GPU installed and have the display connected to the mobo.

Oh I will check. I have done both with VGA and DVI but nothing until I put the GPU in. Thanks
