Best build for Asus GeForce GTX 980Ti

Hi,

I want to buy a new pc and I've asked for different proposals but every store gives me different options so I would like to know if you could help me decide which are some of the best components.

1. Budget & Location

2.500€ - Portugal, Europe

2. Aim

Gaming - League of Legends, GTAV, Crysis, COD

Autocad 2016

3. Monitors

I'm buying one Asus Rog Swift PG278Q

4. OS

Windows 10 Home Edition

5. Reason of Upgrade

I have an old laptop but I want to move to a desktop that allows me to work with Autocad on a big monitor and play games on maximum quality.

6. Processor

Intel Core i7 6700k unlocked 4ghz 8MB SKT 1151 Box or Intel Core I7-5820K 3.3 GHZ 15M LGA2011 ?

7. Motherboard

Which is the best motherboard for this build? I want USB Type-C and a good audio quality.

8. Cooling System

Should I get a liquid cooling system?

9. Case

Is the Fractal Design S a good case for keeping the pc silent?

Thanks, and I hope someone can help me!

If you plan on doing work in AutoCAD I'd actually recommend you go with an Asus PB278Q, as it's a gorgeous monitor for professional use.  A quad core i7 should be just fine, but it really depends on the scale of the projects you'll be working on.  Only get liquid cooling if you absolutely need to OC. The case you selected is very good for silence.  As for motherboards, I need to know which CPU you are going with.

Thanks for you help mate.

Well, I'll be using it more for games than for Autocad. I just do simple and occasional Autocad, Indesign, and Illustrator.

I'm not going to OC, is the Noctua NH-U14S good enough? Does having the liquid cooling system improve the pc silence performance?

As for the CPU I'm indecisive about these two:

Intel Core i7 6700k unlocked 4ghz 8MB SKT 1151 Box

or

Intel Core I7-5820K 3.3 GHZ 15M LGA2011

Above all I want a computer that allows me to play games at 1440 resolution with maximum quality and high fps, and that will also be prepared for the next generation games.

The i7 6700k should be enough in that case.  As for the cooler it should be just fine as well. Now, for the mobo, other than what you specified, any other requirements?  Does color matter to you?

Ok, but can you tell me what the "mobo" is?

Motherboard: MSI x99 sli with a separate audio-card of your liking (i would choose the "ASUS Strix Raid Pro"). The soundcard comes with a usefull unit that has raidmode (preset for different equalizer- and volumesettings). The console also has 2 3.5mm jacks and a microphone.

do you need any additional things other than USB type C though, like M.2 slots and the like?

If you're getting a DAC, get a real DAC.  These ones from Asus are kind of gimmicky.

I don't understand much (if not almost nothing) of computers and I have no idea what M." slots are. But I want the regular wireless, Bluetooth, and uSB 3.0 as well options.

It has descent reviews and launched last year.

That may be so, but it's not as nice as a proper DAC.
