So, Android eh? Great OS, surprisingly more complete than any other mobile OS in my opinion. However, there is one thing that I despise in Android.

This thing is simply in the app menu; a simple aesthetic thing. This is beside the app menu, there is the widget menu. Why would I want to add a widget to my home screen when I am in the menu which selects which app I want to use? It really doesn't seem intuitive. I use Nova launcher and this is driving me crazy. It doesn't make sense to be honest.

Is there a way to get rid of the widgets menu?

Compatible with Windows 95

In Nova I believe there is, also an option so you cant accidentally scroll onto the widget page. Stock launcher I dont think so.

Yes, in the TouchWiz UI they made it so that you cannot scroll into the widget section. Apart from that the S planner widget is awesome on the home screen.

It's because the stock launcher doesn't have any other way adding widgets to the home screen. Some other launchers use a custom app drawer that don't include widgets, but honestly who cares? Just don't scroll over to it.
