Seen something similar to that before, iirc they were the holy grail CRT's Sony GDM-W900's, arguably the best CRT's ever made, they out right beat any LCD out currently in terms of overall picture quality. The person who done it also used a Fresnel lense  infront of the screens to effectively remove the bezels.
