Putting Win7 SSD into new build

I'm thinking about doing a new build that will replace everything except the SSD and GPU. I would like to keep the existing Win7 system, all the files etc even though the mobo, CPU, memory will all have changed.

 

Has anyone done this, or does anyone have any suggestions about how to do this successfully?

its not necessary, but you should do a clean installation anyway

just so your old and new drivers wont be conflicting each other

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
