My dad just bought a 100$ computer for his business (Without even telling me which made me very mad since i would love to build a new one but whatever)

It's windows xp and the problem is, when he opens the computer.... he needs to put in a username and password and we dont know what they are.... can i somehow change the pass somehow? or do something to get to the desktop? Thanks!

You could install windows and not activate it.

And re-install, and just keep re-arming the activation (30 days) in a command prompt (type slmgr /rearm) to re-arm the activation for 30 days

Or you can do w/e you choose to do

Don't have a USB... How much gb's do i need for windows for a usb? I will buy one i guess.

If the computer has the product key on it reinstalll windows using that key.

Just remembered i have a usb that is about 2gb or maybe 8 dont remember... what windows is the best? windows 7 ultimate 64bit?

You need a 4-8gb usb drive.

You can use the same program I linked to burn the ISO to a disc as-well...you will have a disk somewhere surely ;p lol

so it ask for password in windows? before desktop ? in the welcome screen ? if so,that is easy . start xp in safe mode,go to user accounts in control panel and delete the windows password

I am gonna be upgrading it from time to time, making it one of my dozen beasts

Better forget about WinXP since it's support will end in March. If that pc is connected to internet, get some newer system, like win7/8 or linux.

If you just need to get in,

Download OPHCRACK and burn it to a disc. 

Make sure the boot order is optical drive before hard drive.

Run the software.

Write down the possible passwords.

Take the disc out, reboot.

???

Profit.

Pretty much the fastest way to clear the password is by using Offline NT password and registry editor, if you follow the youtube link that Lanoi linked then that explains everything you need to do
