Looking at building a budget pc purely for playing counter strike on. I previously played with the lowest settings and on a 4:3 resolution just by personal preference so its not going to be graphically intense at all. heres the parts ive come up with so far.

ASRock FM2A68M-HD+ Motherboard
AMD A10 7700K 4-Core Processor
EVGA 430W 80 Plus Power Supply
Kingston HyperX Fury HX318C10FBK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) Black
Corsair Carbide 200R Compact ATX Case

total cost 461$ AUD
I have no experience with AMD and budget systems so feedback is greatly appreicated. i already have a ssd boot drive for any system so storage is not an issue.

So do you have a ssd boot drive plus a mass storage drive? Whats your max budget?

i have a 250gb ssd that ill use to boot, not going to need a mass storage for what im using the pc for. I dont really have a price tag i just dont want to spend much money and second hand isnt really an option where i am located

If you want to buy an AMD chip get a 860k or wait for the Zen to release. It's just no worth it right now. go with a i3-4170 or a i3-6100.

Here, if you can wait for AM4 APUs that would be better so you have an upgrade path to zen CPUs, otherwise you're going to want a build like this over what you have there, but really if you can wait maybe a month or so you'd be better off, it's not clear when it's launching but it should be soon

normally I'd go with an A8 APU, but it's probably worth stepping up to the A10 given the price difference in AUS

and then if you want to OC someday here's some benchmarks

Bit more for a Pentium + 360, and then you're stuck with a dual core until you can upgrade to an i5 which I wouldn't recommend, hopefully AM4 comes out soon anyways, if you were going to go intel, I'd say save up a bit more and get an i3, they start at around $160 in AUS, it'll be worth the wait
