I am new to PC building and I am looking for PC, that I can edit 4K videos (mostly from GoPro) in Adobe Premiere Pro on. My budget is 1500 euros and I live in Slovakia.

Here is my part list, please let me know what should I change and what is good.

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz
  • MOTHERBOARD: ASUS X99-A/Intel 2011-v3
  • RAM: DDRAM4 32GB (4x8GB) Kingston HyperX Fury 2400MHz CL15
  • CPU COOLER: Alpenföhn Ben Nevis CPU Cooler - 120mm
  • GPU: Asus STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC-4GD5, 4GB or Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5, 4GB
  • PSU: Forton RAIDER S 750W 80PLUS SILVER
  • CASE: NZXT S340 White
  • SSD: Samsung 850 EVO SSD, 250GB
  • HDD2X Seagate Barracuda 2TB, 64MB cache

If you have any experience with any of these parts or you know something about PCs, please help me. I appreciate every help.

Also please let me know if I should take GTX 960 or 970, if it is worth the extra money. Is it possible to overclock with this build ? If not, what should I change ?

Sorry for my bad english.

Spoiler

1) got you a better psu, you dont really need 750W, 550W is enough for your rig up to 970 or even 980

whether to get 960 or 970, depends on whether your work depends heavily on CUDA,

generally speaking, a 960 with 4gb vram should be enough, but dont quote me on this

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Well are you doing any gaming? because if so a 380/390 is going to be a better choice, otherwise you'd want a workstation GPU of some kind potentially

and I wouldn't worry about overclocking too much

Choices are W5100 and K2200  Performance is basically the same, it just depends on wether you want open CL/CUDA, which both work fine in premier now I think, cuda probably still has some advantages somewhere

and it also depends on if you want the 4 display port outputs on the W5100
