Any car guys here?

I'm in the market for my first car and I need something that I can carry my camera gear in which between now and 5 years from now will be 2 cameras (DSLR's or similar size) a tripod or 2, shoulder rig and lights. I'd like a hatch back but I really like sedans right now, no trucks or vans. not exactly, just looking for general suggestions and general advice as I find it easier to commit to an $8000+ purchase when I've gotten advice from other people who have done it before. As I don't know much about cars other than "go vroom vroom" I find it necessary to ask for advice, tips, suggestions, price range to model year etc... so in other words, no I am not asking you to "car shop" for me and even if I was it's of course all voluntary and there are people who would not mind helping.

yeah I know, I'm trying to make looks a secondary consideration of course but I like accords, Hyundai Santa Fe's, VW Jetta's and the Golf is pretty sweet. Should've clarified that I'm just hoping to get some general advice and the links I posted are a couple of cars I would be willing to buy tomorrow assuming it's a "good" purchase

Ah I see.

Well I like the look of the Jetta but I'm a sucker for a VW

I think the mileage on the Accord is a little high for the price.

The Jetta looks like a good car, but I'd have to see it in person to make a proper judgement.
