Networking Help

I've got a networking issue Iv'e been dealing with since moving to my new house. About once or twice an hour I'll loose connection to the internet. Windows show that i'm still connected to the network but Chrome keeps throwing up error messages. Usually two different ones. One about a DNS error and another that I can't remember right now. I'll have to take a screen cap of it the next time it happens. I'm not very good with networking but I can handle the basics. I've tried changing my DNS setting to Google's DNS server, port forwarding, resetting the default setting on my router. Odd thing is when I try to open my routers web based menu when this happens even that wont load. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Would need more information to be able to help.   Would help a bit to know if you are on a Wired or wireless connection to your router/modem.    Reminds me of the days when I used to use cheap D-Link wireless routers.  Would drop connections all the time randomly.

Wireless. Also it's a belkin I've had for two years. Never gave me problems until I moved.

Then probably is more of an interference issue more then anything.  If you are using 2.4Ghz bands you could try to get a router that'll do 5Ghz bands if the one you have doesn't already do that.  Otherwise hook up to it with a cable and access the web interface and see what wireless channel your currently on and see if jumping channels improves your situation.
